About Edson
Edson manages business aspects of Winthrop, including accounting, human resources, financial reporting, and long-range planning. He dabbles in client work mainly when technical issues arise. Before joing Winthrop, Edson enjoyed a 25 year career in the arts, starting out as an itinerant stage manager, then mounting productions for touring companies and after receiving an MBA, consulting for arts companies and as the Finance Director for the Paul Taylor Dance Company. Outside of Winthrop he built a house in the depths of the Catskill mountains with family labor to serve as a rejuvenating isolated retreat and a base of operations for outdoors activities.
