Surveying, preparing recommendations, providing professional staffing
As with many of Winthrop’s corporate and not-for-profit clients, one well known performing arts organization realized it needed professional assistance in planning and setting up its archives. It contracted with Winthrop to conduct a comprehensive survey of the documentation maintained and prepare an archives plan. They then asked Winthrop to implement the plan and staff the Archives. The result has been a highly successful archives that serves four related entities. In addition to the usual professional responsibilities, the Archives’ staff helps the organizations protect intellectual property rights, preserve and utilize a large collection of images, and prepare materials for inclusion in their websites.
