About David

David is a Digital Asset Specialist and Manager of the Information & Archival Services division.  He has worked with a wide variety of institutions arranging, describing and preserving analog, born-digital and digitized collections since 1998.  An active member of the Society of American Archivists, he helped conceptualize and propose the SAA's Digital Archives Specialist (DAS) curriculum and certificate program in 2011. He is also a musician, singer/songwriter, and limericist.  He is a member of the Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York and founded the NY Digital Archivists Working Group [NYDAWG] in 2010.  He is pursuing an MS in Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY.
